One POST to /api/v1/send from your software, or type a message in the web dashboard. The phone sends it, and delivery status comes back.
Why there is no per-message price
Every other SMS provider buys wholesale traffic from carriers and resells it to you. That is why they bill per message, and why the same message can cost under a cent to one country and over twenty cents to another — they are passing on a cost that genuinely differs by destination.
We do not buy any traffic. The message leaves your SIM card, on your own mobile plan, exactly like a text you type by hand. Many mobile plans already include SMS — some without any limit. Check yours: if messages are included, sending costs you nothing extra, and there is nothing for us to resell.
So we charge for the software, not for the messages. $10.00 a month turns one phone into a gateway. Send ten messages or ten thousand — same bill. Nothing to forecast, no balance to watch, no campaign that stops halfway because credits ran out. Each additional phone is $5.00/month, and a lower price applies automatically at checkout in a number of lower-income countries.
Honest about the limits
This is a real phone on a real consumer plan, and that sets the ceiling. Depending on the carrier, a SIM can send on the order of a thousand messages a day before it starts to look like bulk traffic — enough for a school, a clinic or a workshop, not for a marketing blast to a purchased list. Send to people who expect to hear from you.
Throughput is a phone, not a data center: messages leave in a steady stream rather than all at once, and a class of thirty takes a couple of minutes rather than a second.

What exactly is an SMS gateway, and how can a phone be one?
A gateway is whatever puts your software in touch with the cellular network. Normally that is a company reselling carrier access, which is why it bills you per message. Here it is a handset you already own: the app receives the message from your account and sends it through your ordinary mobile plan, exactly as if you had typed it.
Do I need to buy any hardware?
No. Any Android phone with a working SIM will do, including an old one from a drawer. Most people use a spare handset that stays plugged in at the office, so their personal phone is not involved.
Will my carrier treat this as spam?
Reminders, receipts and notifications to your own customers look to the carrier like normal personal messages, because that is what they are. Bulk marketing to a bought list is a different matter: carriers throttle numbers that send hundreds of messages a day, and this product is not built for that.
