Dual SIM
A phone that supports two SIM cards simultaneously, allowing two phone numbers and carriers on a single device.
Dual SIM phones accept two SIM cards, giving the user two separate phone numbers and potentially two different carriers. This is useful for SMS gateways because you can:
- Send from different numbers for different purposes (business vs personal)
- Use different carriers for better coverage
- Double your SMS capacity on a single device
MySMSGate lets you select which SIM slot (SIM 1 or SIM 2) to use for each message, both via the API ("slot": 0 or "slot": 1) and from the web dashboard.
